USW Local 8914 Key Lake / McArthur River Bargaining update April-21-2023

Cameco Contract Update 

The week of April 17-21/2023 

• The Bargaining Committee met with the Company representatives to discuss the Monetary items within our CBA.  

• Minimal progress was made.The committee is disappointed in the lack of commitment the company has made to address our proposals.  

• The non-monetary Language portionof the CBA has been tentatively completed on March 23/2023. 

• The Local union President Dallas Wuschke and the bargaining committee will host a Q&A Meeting scheduled for April 25/2023 for both day shift and night shift.  

• A Mass text wassent for members who would like to attend on zoom. The in-person meeting will be held In the Theater room in Key Lake and on zoom for the 7:30 pm in the union office in McArthur River.
